How do I become a member of Forest Avenue?
Forest Avenue is an exciting and vibrant community. There are lots of opportunities for spiritual growth and service. There are a number of ways to join the church. Our First Steps Class is a great way to get questions answered and get to know more about Forest Avenue and church membership. These classes are held periodically and meet during the Sunday School time and they are taught by Pastor John. In order to become a member of the church, you need to meet the following:
1. That you have professed faith in Jesus through surrendering to Jesus as your Lord and Savior. (Salvation)
2. Be baptized by immersion (put under the water) If you have questions about baptism call Pastor John.
3. Or come by your profession of faith for baptism, your statement of faith and previous baptism by immersion by a church in like faith and practice, or transfer from another Southern Baptist church.
